Atomic Physics 2022

International Workshop on Atomic Physics
28 November - 2 December 2022

After a three-year pause due to the pandemic, we are very excited to be able to resume the Atomic Physics workshop. This year's focus will be on “Laser pulse induced dynamics in extended systems”, implying phenomena  beyond that of an atomic response. Paradigmatically, one can think of large molecules and assemblies, nano-scale or even solid-state systems. Such systems will become relevant for spatially and temporally structured light. As in the past years a fraction of the slots are devoted to presentations about topics of general interest in atomic physics. We look forward to a chance to reunite as a scientific community and reinvigorate our collaborations and conversations.

The workshop will take place from Monday noon to Friday noon. (Arrival on Sunday afternoon is possible.)

UPDATE:
We have selected 8 of the contributions to be given in parallel sessions on Wednesday morning. We will have a poster session on Tuesday evening. All attendees but the invited speakers are herewith encouraged to present a poster and to send their poster title to atom22[at]pks.mpg(dot)de by November 23, 2022.
