ICAM Travel Awards

The Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter (ICAM-I2CAM) supports the Advanced School/International Workshop with several ICAM travel awards. ICAM travel awards will be assigned primarily to junior scientists from ICAM branches (http://icam-i2cam.org/index.php/branches/) and are subject to the Fly America act (Title 49 of the United States Code, Subtitle VII, Part A, subpart I, Chapter 401).

The first step is to fill the online application form.

Secondly, to apply for an ICAM travel award, please contact the organizers at qimp11pks.mpg.de with the subject line 'ICAM travel award' and provide

1. your name and full contact information
2. your highest academic degree and year of conferment
3. your scientific affiliation and the contact details of your scientific advisor
4. your research interests and a list of relevant publications
5. title of your poster presentation
6. if you are affiliated to an institution that is an ICAM branch: provide contact information of a local ICAM branch member


In addition, we can offer up to two ICAM stipends for junior scientists from emerging nations (e.g. South America, Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, China, India, Pakistan, Malaysia).
