This meeting is the third edition of the
“Workshop on Laser-Matter Interaction” after the first two editions held at Luminy
(France) in October 2008 and at Porquerolles (France) in September 2010. Its primary purpose is to review recent
progress, both theoretical and experimental, in the study of
extreme nonlinear optics, ultrashort pulse propagation, ionization
physics, parametric instabilities in laser-created plasmas,
relativistic plasmas at ultra-high intensity, as well as warm dense
matter regimes.
The participation of students and post-docs is
particularly
encouraged. The registration fees (≤ 360 €) include
meals, lodging and transportation from the meeting point at
Hyères to the conference center.
