Time Random Walks (CTRW) are stochastic processeswhere a walker rests at a
given position for some random time and thenmakes a jump of random size.
For certain waiting time distributions, time averages do not converge
to ensemble averages, which is called weak ergodicity breaking. We discuss
details of this phenomenon andalso
show that this is one mechanism for 1/f-noise.
