The role of resonances in tunnelling

Quantum resonances play a crucial role to understand how tunnelling can fluctuate by several order of magnitude in systems whose dynamics is rich enough. Semiclassically, these quantum resonances are in correspondence with classical resonances and some classical ingredients that are associated with such resonances can help to compute tunnelling with reasonable precision.   I will present  some recent advances in this field  and try to discuss some possible connections with other methods.
