Scope:
The focus event will cover the myriad of ways in which the nature of
dynamics determines tunneling behaviors. Of interest are direct
tunneling processes between regular and chaotic wavefunctions,
resonance-assisted tunneling, chaos-assisted tunneling and ionization,
tunneling between chaotic wavefunctions, and new experimental
realizations of complex tunneling behaviors. The complexification of
classical dynamics in phase space and its geometrical structures in
higher dimensional spaces are of particular interest. The event will be
organized into roughly equal parts of invited presentations with ample
question periods, and break-out discussion sessions.
