Spectroscopy and collision physics of molecular Rydberg states

Chris Greene
Boulder, Colorado, USA
I will discuss two different categories of molecular Rydberg states, namely those formed at very large internuclear distances and those formed at small or modest internuclear distances. These can be created in ultracold gases, or as intermediate states in collision experiments such as dissociative recombination. Recent developments will be presented that bear on both categories.
