This year's Atomic Physics meeting in Dresden will have focus days (Monday to Wednesday) on

"Quantum dynamics of atoms and molecules
in complex environments"

The focus is intended to present recent highlights of open quantum systems research in different research areas in a single meeting,
topics include:

- Open system quantum dynamics and transport
- Coherence under irreversible dynamics: Quantum control, error correction, environment engineering
- Stochastic and quantum classical approaches

The second part of the workshop (Wednesday to Friday) is open to all topics of interest in atomic physics.

The program (of both parts) will consist of invited talks and poster presentations. A certain number of submitted contributions will be also invited for talks.

The registration fee for the workshop is 75 Euro. Local costs including accommodation and meals will be covered by the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. Accommodation will be organized by the MPIPKS. Limited funding for travel expenses is available on request.
