This year's Atomic Physics meeting in Dresden will have three focus days (Monday to Wednesday) on

"Ultra-fast dynamics in finite atomic and molecular systems
probed with novel light sources"

The focus is intended to cover recent research in the field of ultra-fast electron and ion dynamics induced and probed by novel free-electron-laser or attosecond light sources.

Topics include:
- Interaction of few-electron systems with intense short-wavelength pulses
- Response of clusters and nano-particles to strong short-wavelength pulses
- Control of chemical reactions and pump-probe Coulomb explosion imaging

The second part of the workshop is open to all topics of interest in atomic physics.

The program (of both parts) will consist of invited talks and poster presentations. A certain number of submitted contributions will be also invited for talks.

The workshop will be co-sponsored by the "COST action CM0702"

The registration fee for the workshop is 100 Euro. Local costs including accommodation and meals will be covered by the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. Accommodation will be organized by the MPIPKS. Limited funding for travel expenses is available on request.
Registration is closed.
