Strong field molecular ionization

I will discuss strong field molecular ionization experiments that make use of velocity map imaging,coincidence detection and shaped ultrafast laser pulses. We focus our analysis on the distribution of final cationic states and the influence of pre-excitation. Our interpretation of the experimental measurements makes use of electronic structure and strong field ionization calculations.
