This workshop and seminar focuse on a number of important open problems in the field of unconventional superconductivity and will bring together some of the leading experimental and theoretical experts in this field to directly address some of the most pressing controversies. The scope of the workshop spans a large number of very different families of materials, and includes superconductivity in heavy-fermion compounds, the cobaltates, and the high-temperature superconductors, as well as non-centrosymmetric superconductors and the coexistence of superconductivity and magnetism. This workshop will also be of great relevance for other "hot" areas of contemporary condensed matter research, such as nanoscience, advanced spectroscopies, metal-insulator transition, and magnetism.
