The continued fraction method connects high- and low-energy features of the spectrum in a phenomenological way. It keeps the spectral moments of the high energy part and takes into account the Fermi liquid property by a correctly chosen terminator. We present first results where we fixed the only free parameter by minimising the total energy and compare it with other methods.
