This question, which is maybe provocative, is taken as a guide to raise a series of questions and to create a wish list addressed to theoreticians. What does an experimentalist need in terms of computer programs and models to interpret experimental data in an optimal way and to learn a maximum? Several experiments will be shown with an emphasis on the different steps taken to analyze them and also on the difficulties arising from the incomplete understanding of the different steps.
