Signatures of the precursor superconductivity above Tc

It has been well established experimentally that the HTSC compounds reveal several precursor phenomena of superconducting-type correlations [e.g. the large Nernst coefficient, the residual Meissner effect, etc] which extend over a certain temperature region above Tc. I will give the theoretical description of such superconducting fluctuations in a vicinity of the transition temperature. Some of these effects might be verified by the high quality ARPES measurements along the anti-nodal directions or using the STM technique.
