International Workshop on
Collective Phenomena in the Low Temperature Physics of Glasses

October 2 - 13, 2000

Programme

The following pages contain the programme of the workshop Collective Phenomena in the Low Temperature Physics of Glasses held from October 2 to October 13 at the MPIPKS Dresden.

The programme contains three regular elements

In order to promote intensive discussion, we would like to encourage participants of the workshop to prepare short comment-and-discussion contributions (of not more than 2 transparencies) in which they present their views on the subject or any of the papers presented during the day as to (i) what the main achievements or the main open questions are, (ii) for which of the open questions they see the potential for clarification through their own work or through work of others, or (iii) in which directions they would like to see work done in the field to be amended, clarified, or improved. Ample time for direct discussion is reserved also in each session.

The social programme will include (i) a welcome reception on Sunday, October 1, starting 7 p.m., (ii) an excursion to Fort Königstein on Saturday, October 7, and (iii) a conference dinner on Tuesday, October 10, starting 7.30 pm.
