Complex Network background has been successfully applied in climatological data analysis, but still many questions remains without answer. In particular we focused on the nature of the links emerging on the climate complex networks based on temperature data similarity. To the purpose we report here a study of the effects that data time-shifting has on the properties of the climate network. We synchronize Surface Air Temperature (SAT) data according to the seasonal cycle and observe how the spatial averaged weighted degree of the network is affected, analyzing the results in view of link characterization.
