We study the efficiency of thermodynamic machines at maximum power and show that it possesses universal features, deriving from time-reversibility of the microscopic laws. We illustrate these findings on 3 nano-machines, namely a quantum dot and a Maser, both operating as a thermal machine, and copolymer synthesis.
