| PICls is a "Particle in Cell" code considered for numerous plasma studies : astrophysical gaz jet collisions, laser plasma interaction at ultra-high intensity, laser-accelerated particles . We plan to modernize its source files, to implement a Poisson solver in order to study non-neutralized plasma, and to implement a 2D parallelization in order to increase studied plasma size. Then, we will present a first application to pulse shortening through Raman amplification. |
