| I will show that the ideas of composite bosons/fermions that were so useful in the continuum FQHE can also be applied to fractionally filled Chern bands. The key is to use an algebraically exact operator-based approach, which was developed in the late 90's by the author and R. Shankar. This approach allows the computation of gaps, response functions, and temperature-dependence. |
