Towards Atomistic Materials Design
The main focus of the conference is on recent developments in the field of spintronic and nanospintronics and is intended to provide an overview of our current understanding of the physics of spin phenomena in (magnetic) semiconductors or hybrid structures involving metallic, semiconducting, ferromagnetic or ferroelectric materials. Besides fundamental physical properties of these systems recent advances in the development of new materials and new design concepts will be highlighted.
