Frequency mixing in interacting quantum dots

Harmonic frequency mixing in quantum dots coupled to two leads under the influence of time-dependent voltages of different frequency is shown to be dominated by interaction effects. This offers a unique and direct tool to access interaction phenomena. Explicit results are provided for an Anderson dot in three different parameter regimes (perturbative in the interaction strength, in the sequential tunneling regime, and in the Kondo limit). I will also discuss the case of phonon-mediated interactions.
