The Korrelationstage are a series of bi-annual meetings where scientists working in the field of strongly correlated many-body systems are brought together. Young scientists, in particular, will be given the opportunity to report on their work in oral and poster presentations.

The Korrelationstage 2015 are focussed on the following topics:
• Complex order phenomena and quantum phase transitions
• Unconventional quantum phases with spin-orbit coupling
• Majorana fermions
• Novel numerical methods

Preference will be given to participants working on one or more of these topics.

Keynote speakers:

• Felix von Oppen (Freie Universität Berlin, Germany)
• Hidenori Takagi (MPI für Festkörperforschung, Germany)
• Matthias Troyer (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
• Frank Verstraete (Universität Wien, Austria)
• Ashvin Vishwanath* (University of California, USA)
• Ali Yazdani (Princeton University, USA)

* to be confirmed

Applications for participation and oral or poster contributions are welcome and should be made by using the application form on the event's web page. The number of attendees is limited. The registration fee for the event is 120 EUR and should be paid by all participants. Costs for accommodation and meals will be covered by the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems. Please note that childcare is available upon request.

Applications received before 15 June 2015 are considered preferentially.
