Molecules under X-ray pulses

International Focus Workshop - November 15 - 17, 2010

Scientific coordinators:

Simone Techert (MPI für biophysikalische Chemie, Karl-Friedrich-Bonhoeffer-Instiut, Germany)
Joachim Ullrich ((MPI für Kernphysik Heidelberg, Germany)
Jan-Michael Rost (MPI für Physik komplexer Systeme, Germany)

Organization:

Sofja Roscina (MPI für Physik komplexer Systeme, Dresden, Germany)

This will be the second workshop in an unusual format, following the very successful MOLX09 last year: With a small number of participants and talks, we really want to understand the presentations and engage in discussions. Ample time for each topic will be reserved. We will focus on the question how to approach relatively small systems (molecules) in their interaction with their natural or man-made environment.

Invited speakers include:

B. Able L. Cederbaum D. Clary
V. De Riedle W. Domcke D. Egorova
S. Grimme M. Havenith J. Jortner
U. Manthe J. Manz T. Martinez
D. Miller D. J. Nesbitt R. Schinke
J. Schröder D. Schwarzer P. Vöhringer
T. Walter K.-M. Weitzel R. Wester
A. Wodke
