The TI is accompanied by two additional Topical Workshops (TW) which concentrate on particular aspects of many-particle and multi-agent systems in the non-animated and the animated world. These workshops shall attract further participants from other areas to interact with the participants of the TI. The TI takes place at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (MPIPKS, http://www.mpipks-dresden.mpg.de/) in Dresden, Germany, and is jointly financed by EXYSTENCE and the MPIPKS. EXYSTENCE (http://www.complexityscience.org), the Complex Systems Network of Excellence, is funded by the European Commission to foster collaboration among European researchers interested in Complex Systems, from fundamental concepts to applications, and involving academia, business and industry. Further information about the TI and the two TW's can be found at: http://www.mpipks-dresden.mpg.de/~multi04/ If you are interested in participating in the TI or the TW's, please read the information about applications provided at the web page above. For your application, please ONLY use the application forms provided there. Further inquiries may be addressed to the scientific organizers of the TI or the TW's, respectively. More specific questions about the local organization are handled by the MPIPKS.
