| We analyze the physics of dipolar BEC in one dimensional optical lattices. In particular, we analyze the possibility of obtaining bound states of two dimensional solitons, soliton molecules and their excitations. We also consider the physics vortices in different layers and the stabilization of vortex lines due to the dipolar interaction between different layers. |
