| We investigate the characteristics of open elliptic-shaped cavities with an analysis of the survival probability distribution(SPD). Through the analysis we have observed island-like structures which can not be possible in integrable systems. We find that they are caused by the long-lived quasi-periodic orbits of bow-tie and double bow-tie. By tracing the orbits we show that the island-like structures are caused by the long decay time. Also we discuss the island-like structures depending on the aspect ratio. |
