| In this talk some recent advances in tumor modelling from the perspective of (multi-)phase-field theories are presented. This phase-field approach can be constructed from the most traditional reaction-diffusion processes. Thus a review of different approaches to tumor modelling is presented, stressing some important benefits of the phase-field approach by incorporating, for instance, many interesting features of tumor modelling such as mechanical confinement or plastic response. |
