Buddy, can you spare the time?

For a closed system it will be argued that both in classical and quantum mechanics time is unnecessary. Time is derived as a classical concept when one part of the closed system observes another part and it will be shown that this is how time enters quantum mechanics. Special discussion will then be given of the Time-Energy uncertainty relation: how it was derived by Heisenberg, the relation between the many versions given since and how it is derived from the timeless quantum mechanics of a closed system
