EPs in microwave billiards: Eigenvectors and the full hamiltonian for T-invariant and T-noninvariant systems

With an improved experimental set-up over the one used in earlier experiments the full EP-Hamiltonian can be extracted from the scattering matrix in systems without and with violated T invariance. In particular the properties of the eigenvalues and eigenvectors close to and at an EP are discussed. While the EP is encircled the eigenvectors gather geometric phases and in addition amplitudes different from unity [1].
