We investigate the onset of spectral singularity in a non-hermitian extension of Calogero model without confining interaction. We show that there exists at least one spectral singular point in the continuous spectrum when the number of particles is odd. On the other hand for even number of particles spectral singularity occurs when a pair of particles has the same momentum. Our model predicts some new consequences in scattering phase shift under the exchange of particles. |
