| In this talk, we will address recent progress on wave localization in nonlinear parity-time (PT) media. In particular we shall identify a regime for which the PT symmetry is unbroken that allows waves to be confined. Results from linear stability analysis and computational methods will be discussed. Finally, we shall discuss recent experimental results on optical PT symmetry breaking. |
