Spectra from semiclassical and quantum mechanical path integration

Using the coherent state path integral, we calculate the temporal autocorrelation function. For quadratic Hamiltonians we obtain analytic results, while for general Hamiltonians we use a efficient numerical algorithm. The Fourier analysis of the autocorrelation function reveals the spectrum of the system under consideration and allows to identify the (semi-)classical contributions. We apply our method to the calculation of electronic transport through nanodevices.
