The following features of the photoresponse of 2DES on the microwave radiation will be discussed on the base of our experimental data. 1. The magnetoresistance oscillations at fractional ratios of the circular microwave to the cyclotron frequency will be shown to be brought about by the single-photon processes.
2. Coexistence of the microwave-induced magnetoresistance oscillations, explained within single-particle picture, with the resonant absorption of the microwave radiation by the collective magnetoplasma excitations will be demonstrated.
3. Oscillations of photo-galvanic effects induced by the radiation in inhomogeneous 2DES will be argued to lead either to enhancement or to suppression of a potential profile in a sample.
