The experimental work of N. Isik et al. shows that capacitive contacts can be used for magnetotransport measurements, allowing in principle for measurements of high contact-impedance samples, as well as permitting a 2D electron system to be thermally decoupled from the leads. I used the SPICE circuit simulation software to model these experimental capacitive contact results using an equivalent circuit to simulate four-point Hall bar measurements. By comparing to experiment, improvements in the circuit model were developed. Similarities and differences with the analytical calculations are presented.
