We study the effect of diluted nonmagnetic impurities placed in a spin-gapped magnet using an effective low energy disordered Heisenberg model for the impurity-induced spins. Our Monte Carlo simulations show the emergence of either commensurate or incommensurate magnetic order depending on the correlations of the homogeneous system. A comparison with recent experiments in the Zn-doped high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O6.6 is also provided. |
