In this tutorial lecture I am going to discuss in detail the properties of a dimer of Anderson impurities. I will show that this simple model displays at the impurity level many features of strongly correlated systems that have recently attracted a lot of scientific interest: quantum criticality, non-Fermi-liquid behavior, pseudo-gaped spectrum. The nice aspect model is that all these appealing features appear all in the same model and can be uncovered quite in detail.
