This talk will be devoted to an introduction to the theoretical ideas and some experiments on the low-temperature transport through quantum dots with spin S > 1/2. I will discuss some already well understood subjects, such as singlet-triplet transition and two-stage Kondo effect, as well as some new predictions that are yet to be confirmed experimentally.
