| In this talk I will review the basic theory behind atomistic spin-dynamics. Examples of simulations for magnetic phase transitions of ferromagnetic materials and spin-glasses will be contrasted with each other. Dynamical effects, as revealed by the dynamical structure factor will be discussed, especially for thin film systems, where experimental results recently became available. |
