Resonant quantum aggregates in a waveguide: Multiphoton scattering

Multiphoton scattering inside a one-dimensional waveguide caused by a quantum aggregate consisting of a number of resonant two-leves systems located in a region small compared to the photon wavelength is considered. Applying powerful methods of the theory of integrable quantum systems, photon correlations caused by the scattering are analyzed. In particular for the important case of two-photon scattering the dependence of the scattering parameters on the number of two-level systems is described. Qualitative distinctions in photon correlations for the case of a single two-level system and the case of several two-level systems are discussed.
