Within a potential scattering formalism we study the modified local density of states around multiple impurities. At present both scattering off classical impurities and various strongly correlated models can explain the energy position of the resonances and their spatial structure around single impurities. The quantum interference between multiple impurities puts further constraints on the possible models. Also we investigate the interference effects as alternative methods to experimentally detect small subdominant superconducting order parameters.
