Nonequilibrium transport in Kondo systems

In nanoscopic devices non-equilibrium transport through Kondo systems plays an important role. In this tutorial talk we give an introduction to the efficient description of s quantum spin by the Abrikosov technique, which may be generalized to include a charge degree of freedom by means of the auxiliary boson method. Based on this tool, we then develop a perturbative coupling constant renormalization group method suitable for stationary non-equilibrium with and without magnetic field. Some results and applications of these methods to experiments are presented.
