Over the last few years it became possible to design complex quantum systems with an unprecedented level of control.
The goal of this workshop/seminar is to bring together leading experimentalists and theorists working in the areas
of "quantum design" to discuss in detail bottom-up approaches aimed at understanding how complex novel phases and correlation effects emerge.

Topics include
• Quantum glue of unconventional orders
• Quantum orders with multiple broken symmetries
• Using dopants, pressure and magnetic field to disentangle competing correlated phases
• Nanoscale design of strongly correlated materials
• Topological order and fractionalization in spin systems
• Non-equilibrium physics in correlated electron systems
• Novel design ideas for unconventional phases
