Resonances and the time asymmetry problem in non-hermitian QM

The problem of time asymmetry in non-hermitian QM will be
introduced.
A possible solution will be presented and discussed,
supported by formal and numerical applications to
high-order harmonic generation from atoms and molecules
by strong laser fields.
