Dissipative motion of vortices induced by radiation

I will first discuss the motion of vortices in a model for coupled Bose-Einstein condensates. The dissipationless dynamics is deduced by asymptotic calculations and describes correctly the different regimes of vortex interaction. Dissipative dynamics is however observed due to radiative corrections. We discuss the calculation of this effect for the single Bose-Einstein condensate and compare the t1/6 law with numerical simulations. We then transpose the analysis to our present model and obtain a t1/14 law for the distance growth between vortices due to radiation.
