In recent years honeycomb lattice iridate A2IrO3 (A= Na,Li) has drawn significant importance due to possible realization of Heisenberg-Kitaev model[1], a new spin-orbit mott insulator[2] and very recently proposed for Quasi Molecular Orbital(QMO)[3] scenario. We have investigated magnetic and structural property of this system in quite detail with magnetic and thermodynamic measurement as well as neutron scattering. Presently the sensitivity of the magnetic ordering and mott insulating scenario in A2IrO3 has been investigated by different doping at Ir and A site and also by charge carrier doping.
