The talk is based on M.V. Milovanovic and Z. Papic, PRB 79, 115319 (2009) and can be viewed as a blackboard seminar at KITP, Santa Barbara, program "Low Dimensional Electron Systems".
It discusses the interplay between superfluid and topological orders in the quantum Hall bilayer, and a possibility for the BF (doubled) Chern-Simons theory (T.H. Hansson et al, Ann. Phys. 313, 497 (2004) and M. Freedman et al, Ann. Phys. 310,428 (2004)) as an outcome of the superfluid disordering. |
