Quantum dimer model approaches to frustrated magnets

I shall review briefly recent progress made in the implementation of quantum dimer models in the context of quantum antiferromagnets on frustrated lattices. In particular, preliminary results for the Heisenberg model on the frustrated square lattice and on the Kagome lattice will be given.
