How to get to the Max Planck Institute in Dresden

by car:
Take the A4 highway (autobahn) to Dresden and exit at Dresden Altstadt. Follow the sign to Prague (Prag), travel over a bridge (Nossener Brücke) until you reach the junction between Nürnberger Platz / Münchner Straße. Turn right into Münchner Straße and continue to Nöthnitzer Straße.

by train (timetable):
Leave Dresden Central Railway Station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof) via the main entrance hall. Take the tram no. 3 with destination 'Coschütz' and get off at the fourth stop, marked 'Nöthnitzer Straße'. The fare costs about 2.7 DM.
