Mechanism of a temporal intermittency in the GOY shell model turbulence

We discuss on a mechanism of a temporal intermittency in the GOY shell model which is famous as a model of the Navier-Storks turbulence. In particular, we focus a relation between the temporal intermittency and non-hyperbolicity. In this talk, we announce that any laminar state in the intermittency is strongly related to a tangency structure of the turbulent attractor.
