Welcome to the home page of Chris Hooley's research group.
Our research is focused on the theory of strongly correlated systems: quantum systems with many particles that do not admit a straightforward description in terms of dilute, quasi-independent excitations. Examples include the electrons in nearly magnetic metals and magnetic excitations in frustrated magnetic insulators.
